The proposal is based on creating a neighborhood that enables a sustainable lifestyle for residents and those who operate in the area. It combines functions in the same space to create active and resource-efficient rooms that contribute to people meeting outside their homes and sharing various services. The courtyard is a slice of the City Park that contains rich biological diversity, tall trees, and several ecosystem services. Jupiter 13 is a hub for sustainable mobility solutions, with a focus on bike service accessible to all of Jönköping.
The cargo bike pool makes it possible to reduce car dependence in everyday life, and the laundry studio serves as a community space in the building where residents can meet and help each other in daily life. The vision for urban freedom is an active and resource-efficient neighborhood that becomes a pioneer for sustainable housing development in Jönköping.
